Hotel Information: Opened in 1903, this Toronto hotel was designated a historical site in 1975, and re-opened in 1981 after a restoration. The exterior is French Renaissance with terra-cotta trim. In the lobby, a glass-domed rotunda is set amid rose-marble columns. High ceilings give way to a skylight and decor includes Canadian artworks. The property draws both business and vacation travelers.
