Located in six buildings, the San Francisco Sheraton's 531 guestrooms are on four floors accessed by elevators off the lobby, and connected to one another via enclosed walkways.
Renovated in December 2007, all rooms feature desks, lounge chairs, light-wood furnishings, white-tiled bathrooms with vanity areas and coffeemakers, wireless Internet access and TV Internet access (surcharge), video games, and Häagen Dazs ice-cream delivery until 11 PM.

Driving directions from San Francisco International Airport:
- Exit the airport and proceed north on US-101 N toward San Francisco.
- Keep right onto I-80 toward the Bay Bridge.
- Take the exit for Fourth St / Embarcadero, and then turn left onto Bryant St.
- When Bryant St ends, turn left onto the Embarcadero and proceed about 1.5 miles.
- Turn left onto N Point St and proceed three blocks to hotel on right.
Getting there: Taxis, airport shuttles, and BART trains are the most popular ways of getting from the airport to the hotel. Taxi fares are more than $36, and one-way shuttle fares range from $5–$15. Fees subject to change without notice. Airport shuttles are found on the Arrivals level of the airport, above baggage claim; no reservations are required. BART runs directly from the airport to the Embarcadero Station, where guests can catch a taxi or a MUNI streetcar on the F Line for the remaining one mile to the hotel. Some guests prefer to rent cars. Car rentals are available online.
Getting around: Many attractions and restaurants are within several blocks of the hotel, so walking is a convenient and popular way of getting around. San Francisco’s MUNI system offers routes throughout the city and includes electric streetcars, cable cars, trolleys, and buses. The hotel is one or two blocks from both a streetcar stop and a cable car stop. All-day and three-day MUNI passes both cost between $5–$15 and are valid for unlimited travel and transfers. Fee subject to change without notice. With fares under $5, the BART rail system provides access to much of the Bay Area, including Berkeley, Oakland, and Fremont. Fee subject to change without notice. Taxis are also available. CalTrain is a commuter train that runs between San Francisco and San Jose/Gilroy. Plentiful alternative transportation makes renting a car unnecessary, and parking in the city is generally scarce and expensive. For travel to outlying areas guests can rent a car for the day.
