Flanked by palm trees and mangroves, and situated among lush tropical gardens, this oceanfront resort sits on the white sands of Bávaro Beach.
Three outdoor pools, including a 3,493-square-meter (37,600-square-foot) beachfront freeform pool and two children's pools, with seven spa tubs inside. Guests can relax and rejuvenate in a 799-square-meter (8,600-square-foot) spa and health club (surcharges) or try their luck at the casino’s poker and blackjack tables, and slot machines (surcharges).
Paradisus Palma Real offers 1,156 square meters (12,447 square feet) of flexible meeting space and a 1,196-square-meter (12,876-square-foot) ballroom accommodating 1,000 guests. Meeting rooms have audiovisual capabilities; a business center is also on site.
The resort provides a complimentary roundtrip shuttle to the Palma Real Shopping Village next door. The village has many stores, restaurants/bars, and gift/accessory shops.

The Paradisus Palma Real’s 554 air-conditioned guestrooms are decorated in neutral beige and white with orange accents and equipped with mahogany-accented furniture and reading lights. All rooms have balconies or terraces with garden or ocean views, living-room areas with sofa beds, minibars, flat-screen TVs, CD players, alarm clocks, irons and ironing boards, jetted tubs for two, and spa jet-showers.
Royal Service suites are reserved for adults ages 18 and older only. Children are not allowed.

Driving directions from Punta Cana International Airport: Turn right at the Punta Cana International Airport exit. At Beron gas station, turn right on Playas de Bavaro. Go straight; the hotel entrance sign is on the right.
Getting there: A taxi to Paradisus Palma Real from Punta Cana International Airport costs USD$26–35. All prices subject to change without notice.
Getting around: The hotel provides taxi services for a surcharge, which is the best option for getting around town; public buses run outside the hotel.
Activities

Guests can practice their backhand at three tennis and two paddle tennis courts, run on a jogging track, or relax and rejuvenate in a 799-square-meter (8,600-square-foot) spa and health club (surcharges). Kayaking, windsurfing, sailing, use of catamarans and water bikes, scuba diving, and water aerobics are all offered on site.
Paradisus guests receive privileges and greens fees (one green fee per person per day) at the Cocotal Golf Course and Country Club, located 1.5 km (1 mi) away from the resort. Designed by José Pepe Gancedo, this championship course offers professional golf lessons and rents Calloway golf equipment (surcharges). Tee times can be arranged at the resort (subject to availability; reservations required) and cart rentals are mandatory (surcharge).
