The Riu Jalisco All Inclusive offers 700 guestrooms and suites in a six-story, elaborately decorated Spanish/Moorish building featuring a lobby with a bright-pink fountain courtyard and yellow-and-gray arches and a roof ornamented with blue-and-white-tile pyramids. Riu Jalisco All Inclusive includes two heated pools surrounded by expansive sundecks furnished with padded lounge chairs and thatched-roof palapas. A free-form family pool measuring approximately 55 by 55 meters (60 by 60 yds) features a rock-bordered 20-person jetted section and a rock-garden island with three 3.75-meter (12-ft) water slides. A free-form adult pool (ages 18 and older) measuring approximately 59.5 by 59.5 meters (65 by 65 yds) features a swim-up bar, a shallow section for lounge chairs, and a 40-person jetted section.
The resort's 150-meter (164-yd) section of the mile-long beach extending along Banderas Bay's north shore is dotted with palm trees. The resort supplies boogie boards, kayaks, windsurfers, pedal boats, Hobie Cat sailboats, and snorkeling gear. For surcharges, independent operators offer horseback riding, personal watercraft, banana-boat rides, and parasailing on the beach and scuba-diving instruction in the pool.
