Getting around: Only one other hotel is in the immediate area, so to reach shopping/dining choices outside the two properties, guests must bicycle (complimentary), rent a motorcycle or rental car, or take a taxi. Taxis charge a return fare of $5–$15 to Puerto Plata and will wait for guests. For a cheaper but slower alternative, public buses are available from the main highway for fares less than $5.
