Amenity highlights: The large main pool consists of two levels, includes a swim-up bar and a children's section, and is the focus of daytime activities such as water aerobics. A "quiet pool" on an expansive flagstone deck is off to one side.
The beach curves along a large bay that offers calm water for swimming and snorkeling.

This resort offers 282 air-conditioned guestrooms and junior suites in low-rise Mediterranean-style buildings. The buildings all overlook the pool, the resort’s tropical gardens, or the ocean. Guestrooms have white-tile floors and are decorated with shades of cream and white and colorful, locally crafted furniture. The beach is just steps away from the rooms, all of which have patios or balconies. Connecting rooms are also offered. Amenities include compact refrigerators, ceiling fans, and in-room safes (surcharge for use).

Casablanca - The resort's main restaurant, this open-air place serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets. Dinner themes include French, Spanish, Gala Night, and Surf and Turf.
Indochine - Offering a variety of flavors and ingredients, this restaurant serves freshly-made Chinese, Japanese, and Indian specialties.
Bellini Pizza and Pasta - This spot serves traditional Italian specialties from pizza to pasta.
The Beach Club - Open at noon for fast food such as burgers and hot dogs, salads, chicken and fish. This place also serves tea-time fare.
Blue Lagoon - Caribbean seafood. Located directly on the Lifestyle Hacienda Resort's private beach, facing Cofresi beach.
El Zorro-Tex Mex - À la carte dinner specials located at the nearby Lifestyle Vitalis Garden Club.
VIP Disco and Lounge - The resort's dance club rocks from 11 PM until 4 AM, but drinks are not included.
The resort's pool and lobby bars remain open until 11 PM. The Beach Club bar remains open until 6 AM.

Driving directions from Puerto Plata Gregorio Luperón International Airport: Outside the airport, turn right and continue on the main highway, Carretera Sosúa Puerto Plata, through the town of Puerto Plata and straight on towards Carretera Santiago. Follow signs for Cofresi beach and the hotel.
Getting there: Choices are by taxi ($16–$25 fare) or rental car (more than $36). Fees subject to change without notice. Rental cars are available online.

Getting around: Guests can travel in the immediate area on complimentary bicycles from the hotel but walking to the town is not recommended. Because of the distance to Puerto Plata, taxis are the best way to get there and fare is in the $5–$15 range. Public buses leave from Puerto Plata to other towns in the region for fares of less than $5. Fees subject to change without notice. Otherwise, rental cars are necessary to find attractions and shopping/dining choices outside of the resort area.
