This All-Inclusive Puerto Plata resort offers 336 rooms in two-story villas. The villas are located on 16 acres of tropical vegetation, bordering a championship golf course. Rooms and suites all have furnished balconies or patios with views of the resort’s gardens or the golf course.
Decor is tropical plantation–style, with sand-hued walls, red terra-cotta tile floors, dark-wood and rattan furnishings, and floral-print bedspreads and draperies. Contemporary bathrooms include tub/shower combinations.

Driving directions from Puerto Plata International Gregorio Luperón Airport: Outside airport, turn right and continue straight on Av Gregorio Luperón to the resort area of Playa Dorada. Turn right into Playa Dorada and follow signs to the hotel.
Getting there: The best way is by taxis which charge fares in the $16–$25 range. Rental cars and limousines are more than $36. Rental cars are available online.
Getting around: Caribbean Village Playa Dorada is in a popular tourist and beach area, and guests can walk or use complimentary bicycles to many shops and restaurants in the plaza near this Puerto Plata hotel.
Public buses stop just outside the Playa Dorada complex, providing access to neighboring towns for fares of less than $5. A taxi or rental car is needed to travel more conveniently outside Playa Dorada and taxi fare to the town of Puerto Plata is in the $5–$15 range.

Firenze - Serving Italian dinners à la carte, this intimate, nonsmoking spot under a low wood ceiling is available to guests once per week during their stay. Reservations required. Men are requested to wear long pants.
Miranda - Located on a rooftop terrace, Miranda features grilled meats sliced Brazilian-style from long skewers at table. Miranda is available to guests once per week during their stay. Reservations required. Men are requested to wear long pants.
Eddy's Sports Bar - Serving drinks until late night, Eddy's features pool tables and disco music.
Beach Club - At the beach to which hotel guests are transported by shuttle there's a bar serving tropical drinks and a snack bar serving fast foods such as burgers, hot dogs, and pizza.
