Driving directions from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport: Take SR 202 E to SR 101 N and continue on 101 until Scottsdale Rd. Turn right and head north on Scottsdale as it becomes Tom Darlington Dr. Boulders Resort is on the right just past Carefree Hwy.
Getting there: Because of this resort’s distance from the airport, most ways to get there, including taxis, hotel-arranged sedan service, and limousines cost more than $36. The SuperShuttle service is $16–$25 per person and rental cars start in the $26–$35. Rental cars are available online.
Getting around: The hotel offers shuttle service via golf carts and vans for guests traveling around the property. For those who want to leave this secluded spot in the Sonoran foothills, rental cars are the best way. Driving is fairly easy due to a well-marked extensive network of freeways throughout the Valley of the Sun.
