Hotel Information: The Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa showcases architecture, art, and décor that is representative of and inspired by Gila River Indian culture. Located 11.5 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, the resort is set within the Gila River Indian Community. As the name suggests, more than 1,500 wild horses roam the surrounding lands and frequently visit the corrals.

Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa guestrooms have patios or balconies with mountain, desert, river or golf course views. Decor is culturally themed and reflects the traditions of the Pima and Maricopa peoples.
All guestrooms include the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed. The Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed features a custom-designed, extra-thick, plush-top mattress dressed with three sheets, fleece blankets, plump duvet in rich colors, and five goose down/feather pillows.
Marble baths have lighted makeup/shaving mirror, separate tubs and stall showers, and bathrobes. Other amenities include stocked minibars, multi-line phones with voice mail, and high-speed Internet access (surcharge).

Getting there: Guests can prearrange with the resort for pick-up by Town Car for more than $50. Airport shuttles and taxis (both more than $36) are also available. Rental cars can be booked online.
Getting around: Wild Horse Pass Casino is 1 mile from the main hotel. Complimentary boat shuttles along the 2.5-mile replica Gila River transport guests to the Whirlwind Golf Club, Wild Horse Pass Casino and the Rawhide Western-themed town every 30 minutes, from 10 AM to 10 PM (hours and availability subject to change).
Since this property is in a quiet, secluded location on the Gila River Indian Reservation and the nearest shops and restaurants are in Chandler, two miles away, most guests rent a car to get around. Rental cars are available online.
Driving in greater Phoenix is fairly easy due to well-marked and extensive freeways. Downtown Phoenix offers complimentary DASH buses that loop past the State Capitol and many shopping, entertainment, business, and financial complexes. The Scottsdale Trolley runs through Old Town and is also complimentary, but only available mid-November through the end of May.

The Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa includes 36 holes of championship Troon golf spread across 242 acres with indigenous plants and mountain views. Each hole is named for a significant legend or landmark of the Maricopa and Pima tribes.
Koli, the on-site equestrian center, offers horse riding and lessons for all skill levels (surcharge). The Phoenix-area resort also includes four outdoor pools and a 111-foot waterslide. Tennis courts and instruction are also on site (surcharges).
