This Scottsdale resort's courtyard surrounds two pools - one offering a sand beach and a small water slide. Outdoor fire pits are lit every night. A gift shop sells sundries, postcards, and swimwear, along with espresso drinks (every day until early evening).
The Jurlique Spa at FireSky Resort, the hotel’s 3,500 square-foot day spa, houses six treatment rooms, including one couples massage room. Treatment rooms feature ceramic claw-foot tubs; some offer private showers and toilets. The Spa also features a wet room with Vichy shower, facial room, manicure/pedicure room, and meditation room—all located near the lobby, with easy access to the spa tub, fitness, and pool areas.

Many rooms feature garden, courtyard, or pool views. Antique-style lamps and Audubon prints lend a classic touch. Stylish bathrooms have marble counters and floors plus bowl-style sinks and come with either bath/tub combinations or showers only. Other amenities include complimentary wireless Internet access and laptop-compatible safes. All rooms are nonsmoking.
All Kimpton Hotels incorporate more than 40 eco-friendly products and practices through its environmental program, Kimpton Hotels EarthCare.

Getting there: The most popular ways are by SuperShuttle van service ($15 per person) and taxi ($25–$40.) Other options include rental cars which start in the $26–35 range and unscheduled limousines which are $16–25 up to two passengers, $7 for each additional person; hourly rates are more than $36. Rental cars are available online.
Getting around: This hotel is located near plenty of shopping, dining, entertainment, and visitor attractions. Guests can walk four blocks to Fashion Square Mall and from there, hop aboard the free Scottsdale Trolley which winds past Old Town and the arts districts six days a week, from mid-November through the end of May. Or guests can take advantage of the hotel’s complimentary shuttle which drops off at any point within a three-mile radius which includes all of downtown. For convenient driving into Phoenix, a rental car is best. Driving in the area is made easy by well-marked roads and streets largely laid out on a grid pattern.

A complimentary daily shuttle (by request) takes guests to destinations within three miles of the resort. The concierge arranges bicycle rentals for guests who want to cycle the nearby canal banks or the eight-mile long Indian Bend Greenbelt near the hotel.
