Hotel Information: Modeled after the California Mission-style hotel popularized in the Eagles song Hotel California, this 650-room, seven-story hotel is a celebration of classic rock and roll. Arriving vacationers and business travelers are greeted by a vintage 1956 Chevy and a giant fountain with 42 guitars spouting water skyward. Elvis memorabilia graces the 1960s-style lobby and rock music fills the air.
Amenity highlights: This Orlando hotel displays a wealth of rock memorabilia, including outfits worn by Jimi Hendrix and Elvis. A 12,000-square-foot, zero-entry splash pool has interactive fountains, a 260-foot slide, and underwater speakers playing rock music. Shuttles and water taxis within Universal Orlando, as well as shuttles to SeaWorld and Wet ‘n Wild, are complimentary. High-speed Internet access is available (surcharge). Also, guests bypass regular theme-park lines with complimentary Universal Express ride access.
Insider tip: Live reggae performances are offered nightly in the gazebo at Bob Marley’s Caribbean-style restaurant in CityWalk, located in Universal Orlando. Complimentary water taxi or shuttle is available from the hotel.

Driving directions from Orlando International Airport:
- Heading north out of the airport, take SR 528 W/Bee Line Expwy (toll) to I-4 E.
- From I-4 E, take Exit #75A/Universal.
- Turn left onto Universal Blvd.
- Hotel is 2 miles ahead on the left.
Getting there: One-way taxi from the airport is $16-$25; one-way shuttle service per person is $16-$25; and one-way Town Car is more than $36. The best option is a rental car. Car rentals are available online. All prices are subject to change.
Getting around: Within Universal Orlando, complimentary water taxis and shuttles operate frequently from early morning till past midnight. Complimentary transportation is also provided daily to Wet ‘n Wild Waterpark and SeaWorld. For travel to other destinations outside Universal Orlando, a rental car is the best option.

The Kitchen - Providing a range of contemporary cuisine and comfort food. Visiting rock stars often perform cooking demonstrations of their favorite dishes at the Chef’s Table, and afterward their personalized cooking apparel is immortalized on the restaurant's "Apron Wall." Kids can dine in the Kid’s Crib and sit on kid-sized furniture while watching their favorite cartoons. Emack & Bolios Marketplace - Ice cream parlor serving confections such as Bye Bye Miss American Mud Pie, Deep Purple Cow, and Jumping Jack Grasshopper Pie. Starbucks coffee also available.
