Hotel Information: Evoking an Eastern Seaboard seaside resort from the early 20th century, Disney's Beach Club Resort provides a casual beachside welcome to arriving leisure travelers. The lobby has tall ceilings, striped curtains, nautical touches, wood furnishings, and tile floors; an outdoor patio provides a view of the 25-acre Crescent Lake.
Amenity highlights: The centerpiece of this Lake Buena Vista resort is the three-acre lakeside water park Stormalong Bay, with an outdoor pool, water slides, spa tubs, two quiet pools, and white-sand beach. Modeled after an early-20th-century seaside resort on the Eastern Seaboard, Disney's Beach Club Resort provides an upscale ambience and breezy, seafaring attitude. The resort’s centerpiece is its three-acre lakeside water park, Stormalong Bay, which has water slides, a children’s pool, and a white-sand beach as well as seven spa tubs and two quiet pools.
This Lake Buena Vista resort offers nightly bedtime stories, a game room, playground, and the Sandcastle Club, which provides supervised children’s activities (surcharge). The Ship Shape Health Club has exercise equipment and also offers massages and facials.
Guests can also rent pontoon boats, canopy boats, and Mercury WaterMouse boats at the nearby marina. Disney’s Beach Club Resort shares many of these facilities with its adjacent companion property, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.
The resort has 73,000 square feet of meeting space, banquet facilities, and a business center. Complimentary scheduled transportation (via ferry or motorcoach) is provided throughout Walt Disney World® Resort, including all four Theme Parks, both Water Parks, and the Downtown Disney® area.

The Disney's Beach Club Resort's 576 guestrooms are designed in the style of a New England seaside resort, with white-wicker furniture and a color scheme of salmon and light green. All rooms provide balconies—some are furnished, others step-out only—with views of the grounds, pools, parking area, or lagoon. All accommodations provide tables and chairs, in-room safes, coffeemakers, and refrigerators. Other amenities include air conditioning, ceiling fans, and separate vanity areas with dual sinks. High-speed Internet access is available, and microwaves are available upon request (surcharge for both). |

- Depart the airport and bear right (south) onto S Access Rd.
- Continue south on Boggy Creek Rd and take SR 417/Central Florida Greenway.
- There will be a toll.
- Take Exit 6 (toward SR-535/SR536/I-4 East) and keep left at the fork on the ramp.
- Merge onto International Drive.
- Stay on International Dr to FL-536 W.
- Take FL-536 (turn right) and follow signs to Walt Disney World® Resort.
- FL-536 W becomes Epcot® Drive.
- Take the ramp towards Disney’s Hollywood Studios™/Epcot®.
- Merge onto East Buena Vista Drive.
- Follow signs to Disney’s Beach Club Resort.
Getting there: Disney’s Magical Express: Guests of this resort are eligible for complimentary Disney’s Magical Express service. Taxis to Disney's Beach Club Resort are $45–$50 one way. Fee is based on mileage, not number of passengers, and subject to change without notice. Rental cars are another transportation option; reservations can be made online.
Getting around: Guests can take a complimentary water launch (ferry) to Epcot® and Disney’s Hollywood Studios™. Scheduled (and complimentary) motorcoach transportation is available to all other areas in Walt Disney World® Resort, including the two other Disney Theme Parks and two Water Parks, and the Downtown Disney® area. Guests who wish to visit downtown Orlando or other points in the Orlando area will want to rent a car.
Activities
The centerpiece of the resort is the three-acre water park Stormalong Bay, located on 25-acre Crescent Lake. Stormalong Bay includes water slides, seven spa tubs, two quiet pools, a children’s pool, and a white-sand beach.
The resort also has a game room, playground, and the Sandcastle Club, which provides on-site supervised activities daily (surcharge). The Ship Shape Health Club has exercise machines and free weights, steam room, and sauna; massages and facials are available (surcharge for both).
Pontoon boats, canopy boats, and Mercury WaterMouse boats are available for rent at the resort marina. Guests can also fish (catch and release); play tennis, croquet, or volleyball; and jog or walk along a 0.8-mile jogging trail that circles the lake.
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and 36-hole Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course are both one mile from the resort via complimentary transportation. The resort’s guest services can assist with reservations at any one of Disney’s five tour-caliber golf courses, all located on Walt Disney World® Resort property. A nine-hole walking course is also available.
