Getting there: Taxis are convenient for reaching the hotel. They charge a flat fee of $28 for up to two people or $12 per person for three or more people. Town Car or limo service is another option, costing more than $36. Shuttle service is also available for $5–$15 per person.
Getting around: The hotel's location in the Central Business District four blocks from the French Quarter makes many destinations accessible by foot. For longer distances, visitors often travel via historic streetcars or other forms of public transportation, which cost less than $5. Taxis are another reliable option and are readily available by phone.
Insider Tip: Many visitors enjoy a ride on the nearby St. Charles Streetcar line. The line begins at Canal Street and Bourbon Street and travels through the Central Business District. It continues through the historic Garden District, filled with opulent mansions. The streetcar also stops at Riverbend, with its Victorian cottages housing shops and restaurants, and continues to Audubon Zoo and Loyola and Tulane universities.
