Hotel Information: The resort caters to vacationing families, singles, couples, and groups, offering activities and entertainment such as Bahamian/Caribbean luaus, limbo, dance lessons, a poolside dance and fire show, and karaoke for all ages.
Amenity highlights: The Paradise Island Harbour Resort's private, white sand beach on Nassau Harbor has adults’ and children’s volleyball nets, complimentary cabanas, lounge chairs, and hammocks strung between palm trees. The beach faces a small swimming cove and snorkeling lagoon, edged by a 76-meter (250-foot) boardwalk which offers romantic, after-dark views of lights along Nassau Harbor. The hotel’s expansive freeform pool has a waterfall, sundeck, and large spa tub. A wooden arched bridge crosses to an island in the pool, with palm trees and space for sunning.

The hotel has a small man-made beach directly behind the hotel with a shallow snorkeling lagoon, and 250,000-gallon freeform pool with spa tub. Guests may have their hair braided or enjoy a massage at stations next to the pool (surcharges). A large public beach is a 10-minute drive away.
The KidSpree Kids Club for children ages 4–12 provides a variety of activities, including video movies, board and table games, sports, and sandcastle building. These activities are complimentary when children are accompanied by parents. The resort charges a $5 fee for supervision of unaccompanied children, with hourly, half-day, and full-day childcare sessions available.

The Paradise Island Harbour Resort offers 246 guestrooms in a 12-story, sand-colored tower. Some rooms have balconies furnished with a table and two chairs. All rooms have island or water views. Tropical décor features pastel-yellow walls, white ceilings, crown molding, coral-colored ceramic tile floors, and bright floral bedspreads. Televisions offer pay movies. Driving directions from Lynden Pindling International Airport: Turn right onto John F. Kennedy Dr. Turn left onto Cable Beach Rd and continue towards downtown Nassau. The street becomes Bay St. Take Bay to the bridge. Cross the bridge (toll) and at the traffic light, turn right onto the roundabout. Continue straight ahead onto Harbor Dr. The hotel is on the right.
Getting there: A regular shuttle service does not operate from the airport so the easiest way to get to the hotel is by taxi. Fare is US$26–$35 for the first two passengers and US$3 for each additional person. Passengers must pay for the toll bridge (less than $5 USD). Rental cars, Town Cars, and limousines are US$36+. Getting around: Paradise Island has no public transportation so the easiest way to get around is on foot or by taxi. Taxi fare to both downtown Nassau and to Cable Beach is US$5–$15 for up to two persons. Motor scooters are a popular way to tour and rent for US$36+. Fees subject to change without notice. Water taxis cross from Paradise Island to Nassau for return fares of US$5–$15. Once on the Nassau side, local buses called jitneys provide a way around for fares of less than US$5. Fees subject to change without notice. Water taxis and jitneys stop running at dusk. Driving British-style (on the left) along narrow streets and through roundabouts is daunting for most visitors so if going longer distances, taxis may be best.
Island-hopping is possible through Bahamas Ferries which runs catamarans to out islands including Eleuthera and Harbour Island from Potter’s Cay between the old and new Paradise Island bridges. Or visitors can travel as the locals do, on mailboats which leave for the out islands from Potter’s Cay or Prince George Wharf, but passage can run on “Bahamas time” (slowly) and cargo can include livestock. Guests can take advantage of the resort's two hard-surface tennis courts; two 45-minute tennis lessons are included. Adults' and children's beach volleyball courts, and snorkeling gear are available. Scuba diving introductory lessons are given on a first-come, first-served basis. The fitness center offers a weight training gym, treadmills, cycle machines, and free weights.
A dive shop located in the hotel can arrange dive and snorkel trips (surcharges). Many guests walk to a nearby public beach called Cabbage Beach where vendors offer Jet skiing, parasailing, and banana boat rides. Local vendors also rent bicycles and motor scooters.
