Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay
Information & Amenities

Hotel Information: Featuring the neoclassical/colonial style of Mazatlán's historic Angela Peralta Theater, this Mexico resort has a contemporary-with-patina ambience exemplified by ivy-covered walls and tiered fountains, which are designed to look ancient. Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay supplies broad vistas of mountains, sea, beach, sky, and gardened grounds not found in crowded Mazatlán.
Amenity highlights: Two heated pools provide year-round swimming. One measures 107 meters (350 ft) and features a toddlers' section, infinity edges, and a spa tub. The other has a swim-up bar and is adjoined by toddlers' pool and spa tub. Natural-contour resort grounds feature expansive lawns, gardens, Greek-style statues, koi ponds, waterfalls, streams, fountains, caged tropical birds, and a pond with two kinds of flamingos, black and white swans, and Pichichin ducks.
Insider tip: During endangered sea turtles' winter nesting season, staff members from the Mazatlán Aquarium dig up eggs on the beach fronting the hotel and incubate them at the aquarium. After hatching, baby turtles are brought back to the beach, and guests help release them into the ocean.
