Hotel Information: Set on six tropical acres with jade-green hills as a backdrop, ResortQuest Kaanapali Shores faces popular Kaanapali Beach. A porte-cochère leads to a stylish lobby with floor-to-ceiling windows, Polynesian artwork, abundant greenery, and inviting seating areas.
Amenity highlights: Slate decks with spa tubs surround the two splash pools—one with a beach view, the other in a garden setting. The Beach Club Restaurant hugs the sandy shore and offers indoor and outdoor seating. Guests gather on tropical lawns, complimentary Hawaiian drinks in hand, for a weekly Polynesian show. Children learn about Hawaiian culture with lei making and hula dancing at Camp Kaanapali (ages 5–12; surcharge). Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout the property.

Facing the blue Pacific Ocean, ResortQuest Kaanapali Shores resort is one mile from Whalers Village shopping and dining, two miles from the Kaanapali’s golf courses, and five miles from Kapalua’s golf courses.
The resort offers three complimentary tennis courts, two pools with spa tubs, a beachfront fitness center (surcharge), a sauna, barbecue grills, and a salon with ocean-side outdoor massage. A tropical koi-pond garden leads to a wedding gazebo.
Camp Kaanapali children’s program for ages 5-12 is held weekdays and Friday evenings (daily surcharge; reservations required).
A farmers market across the street sells hot, prepared dishes in addition to salads and organic produce.

Room Descriptions
ResortQuest Kaanapali Shores offers 460 guestrooms, studios, and suites located in the nine-story main building and a four-story wing (elevator access to all units). Island-style decor includes wicker and rattan furnishings, botanical and Hawaiian quilt art, and pineapple-motif lamps. Cable TV includes premium channels, video games (surcharge), Internet access (surcharge), and pay movies. Wireless Internet access is complimentary.
Suites and studios have private lanai and fully equipped kitchens. Suites also have washer/dryers and dining sets. Hotel rooms do not have lanai, refrigerators, or washer/dryers, but coin-operated washer/dryers are available on several floors.
Smoking is not permitted inside hotel rooms.
The hotel provides two complimentary bottled waters upon arrival.

Kahului Airport (OGG): Approximate driving time to ResortQuest Kaanapali Shores is 45 minutes, and distance is 32 miles.

- Drive southwest on Hwy 380.
- After about eight miles, turn right onto Hwy 30, which leads to Lahaina.
- After another four miles, turn left onto Lower Honoapiilani Hwy.

Getting there: Rental cars, available online, are the best option from either airport. Taxis are approximately $14 from Kapalua, $60 from Kahului. Airport shuttles may cost slightly less.
Getting around: An hourly shuttle travels to Lahaina and Kapalua (surcharge). Rental cars are recommended for visiting golf courses and exploring the island.

Activities
ResortQuest Kaanapali Shores is located directly along the golden-tan sands of Kaanapali Beach. The resort rents beach equipment such as boogie boards and kayaks. The beachfront fitness center ($10/day surcharge, subject to change) includes a sauna. Two freeform pools are surrounded by sundecks with spa tubs. Guests enjoy complimentary use of three lighted tennis courts. Scuba diving, snorkeling, and other activities (surcharges) can be arranged through the front desk. The resort offers complimentary scuba lessons in the beachfront pool.
Kaanapali’s golf courses are two miles south. Kapalua’s golf courses and golf academy are five miles north. Other West Maui activities include mountain hiking, boating, skydiving, and parasailing. From around December through April or mid-May, humpback whales can sometimes be spotted from the resort’s grounds.
