Hotel Information: This low-rise oceanfront resort is arrayed on 13 acres with tropical gardens, plumeria trees, palm-fringed koi ponds, putting greens, and pools. Families, couples, and leisure travelers come here for privacy, condo convenience, and beach access, which can be combined with hotel-style amenities available at a companion property next door.
Insider tip: The Farmer’s Market across the street sells organic produce as well as fresh smoothies and hot, ready-to-go food. The market is open daily from early morning until early evening.

Room Descriptions
The 462 condo units at ResortQuest at Papakea Resort are divided among 11 four-story buildings, all with elevators. The spacious condos are individually decorated in island style. Sliding glass doors open to furnished lanai with ocean or garden views. Condos offer full kitchens with microwaves, refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, and coffeemakers. Dining areas and washer/dryers are also included. Wireless Internet access is complimentary. TV Internet access is available for a surcharge. DVD and CD players are provided. Ceiling fans supplement air conditioning. |

Driving directions from Kapalua West Maui Airport:
- Turn left on Hwy 30.
- After about three miles, turn right onto Lower Honoapiilani Hwy.
- The hotel is on the left.
Kahului Airport (OGG): Approximate driving time to ResortQuest at Papakea Resort is 45 minutes, and distance is 32 miles.
Driving directions from Kahului Airport:
- Drive southwest on Hwy 380.
- After about eight miles, turn left onto Hwy 30, which heads straight for Lahaina.
- After another four miles, turn left onto Lower Honoapiilani Hwy.
- The hotel is on the left.
Getting there: Rental cars, available online, are the best option from either airport. Taxis are approximately $14 from Kapalua, $60 from Kahului. Shuttle vans cost slightly less.
Getting around: An hourly shuttle travels to Lahaina and Kapalua (surcharge). Rental cars are recommended for exploring Maui.

Activities
This Maui resort has two ocean-view splash pools with spa tubs, as well as two 18-hole putting greens and a lighted tennis court. Yoga and an introductory surfing class are complimentary. Advanced surfing classes are available for a surcharge.
The adjacent companion property has a beachfront fitness center (surcharge) and offers a children’s program (ages 5–12) that includes Hawaiian cultural activities and outdoor play, from ukulele lessons to hula-skirt making. Daily surcharge for the children’s program is $25, subject to change.
The resort rents kayaks, boogie boards, and other beach equipment. The golf courses of Kaanapali are two miles south. The famed three courses and golf academy of Kapalua are five miles north. Other activities in West Maui include skydiving, parasailing, hiking in the West Maui mountains, and boating.
