Driving directions from Kahului Airport:
- Follow Mokulele Hwy (311) south for approximately 8 miles.
- Turn left onto Piilani Hwy (31).
- After about 7 miles, turn right into Wailea Resort (Wailea Iki Drive).
- Turn right at the traffic light on Wailea Alanui Drive.
- At the intersection toward Kihei, the Outrigger Palms lies across the street and on the left.
Getting there: Rental cars are the best option, and they are available online. Taxis cost approximately $55. Airport shuttles can be arranged and may cost less.
Getting around: Rental cars are recommended for travel in the area and to farther island destinations. Another option is the Maui Bus (less than $5), which serves Kihei and Wailea during the day.
