Kaanapali Beach Club offers a total of 413 spacious suites in two 12-story buildings. Sliding glass doors open to furnished lanai.
Separate living rooms have sofa beds, dining sets for four, and 35-inch TVs (second, smaller TV in bedroom). Kitchenettes include full or compact refrigerators, microwaves, sinks, toasters, coffeemakers, cookware, and dishes. Bathrooms feature separate showers and marble-topped vanities. Some suites feature jetted soaking tubs.

Driving directions from Kapalua West Maui Airport:
- Turn left onto Hwy 30.
- After about three miles, turn right on Lower Honoapiilani Hwy.
- Turn left onto Kaanapali Shores Place. The hotel is on the right.
Kahului Airport (OGG): Approximate driving time to Kaanapali Beach Club is 45 minutes, and distance is 32 miles.
Driving directions from Kahului Airport:
- Drive southwest on Hwy 380.
- After about eight miles, turn right onto Hwy 30, which heads straight for Lahaina.
- After another four miles, turn left onto Lower Honoapiilani Hwy.
- Turn left onto Kaanapali Shores Place. The hotel is on the right.
Getting there: Rental cars, available online, are the best option from either airport. Taxi fare is approximately $14 from Kapalua, $60 from Kahului. Airport shuttles may cost slightly less.
Getting around: An hourly shuttle (surcharge) travels to Lahaina and Kapalua. Rental cars are recommended for visiting golf courses and exploring the island.

The freeform pool includes a 24-foot water slide, a sundeck, and a spa tub. Sandy North Kaanapali Beach offers great walking and limited snorkeling opportunities. Kaanapali Beach Club rents kayaks, boogie boards, and other gear. An 18-hole miniature-golf course (surcharge) and a fitness center are also on site. Yoga classes are offered for a surcharge. Guests can sometimes spot whales from the resort grounds from around mid-December to mid-May.
The golf courses of Kaanapali are two miles south of this Maui resort. Five miles north, Kapalua offers three renowned courses and a golf academy. Other West Maui activities include skydiving, parasailing, mountain hikes, and boating.
