The tour starts at the Plantation Farm and Ancient Village of Kekaa at the Royal Lahaina Resort, one mile from the hotel. Reservations are required and space is limited.

Room Descriptions
Kaanapali Beach Hotel features 430 guestrooms located in four wings forming an ocean-facing horseshoe. Three wings are six floors high and have elevators; the three-story Molokai wing has exterior access, is entirely nonsmoking, and does not have elevators.
Hawaiian décor includes original artwork, island-style wicker and rattan, and Polynesian accents. Sliding-glass doors open to furnished lanais with ocean, partial ocean, garden, or courtyard views.
Amenities include compact refrigerators, coffeemakers, in-room safes (surcharge), and high-speed Internet access (surcharge).

Driving directions from Kapalua West Maui Airport: Turn left on Hwy 30. After about 4 miles, turn right onto Kaanapali Parkway, which is the main Kaanapali Beach Resort entrance.
Kahului Airport (OGG): Approximate driving time to Kaanapali Beach Hotel is 45 minutes, and distance is 32 miles.
Driving directions from Kahului Airport: Drive southwest on Hwy 380. After about 8 miles, turn right on Hwy 30 toward Lahaina. After 3 miles, turn left onto Kaanapali Parkway, which is the main Kaanapali Beach Resort entrance.
Getting there: Rental cars are the best option from either airport, and they are available online. Taxis cost approximately $14 from Kapalua and $60 from Kahului. Airport shuttles can be arranged and may cost slightly less. All prices are subject to change.
Getting around: Complimentary scheduled shuttle service is available within the resort area, with stops at golf courses, the Sugar Cane Train depot, the Whalers Village shopping center, and all hotels in the Kaanapali Resort, including Kaanapali Beach Hotel. Shuttle service (surcharge) is also available to Lahaina and Kapalua. Rental cars are recommended for farther Maui travel.
Activities
Kaanapali Beach Hotel's Manicured lawns include a whale-shaped pool, a giant checkerboard, and picnic areas, as well as an outdoor stage with nightly Hawaiian entertainment. The hotel offers an array of complimentary cultural activities such as ukulele playing, poi making, and lauhala weaving.
