Hotel Information: Fronted by waterfalls, the 102-acre Mirage Resort & Casino features a volcano that erupts every hour from 7 PM to midnight. A lobby of pink marble and limestone includes a 65-foot-long, 20,000-gallon coral-reef aquarium. A domed atrium houses a rainforest with banana trees, palm trees, and ponds.
Amenity highlights: Cirque du Soleil presents LOVE, a tribute to The Beatles. Singer/comedian/impressionist Danny Gans and headliners such as Jay Leno and Ray Romano perform on a varying schedule. A lagoon-style pool with a quarter-mile "shoreline" is set in a coconut-grove garden with grottos and waterfalls. Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden features white tigers, lions, snow leopards, and other magnificent cats. A family of Atlantic bottlenose dolphins makes its home in the Dolphin Habitat.
Insider tip: To avoid long lines, guests may purchase or pickup tickets for any of the hotel’s shows, including the popular Cirque du Soleil performance, LOVE, at either the Danny Gans box office, or the LOVE box office.
Property Amenities
Renovated in November 2007, the resort’s 22,000-square-foot spa features redesigned steam rooms, saunas, and spa tubs; an increased number of treatment rooms for massage services; a meditation room for guests receiving services; and an updated co-ed fitness facility providing cardio machines, strength-training equipment, and free weights. Use of spa facilities, including its fitness center, is available for a surcharge or complimentary with a treatment.
The redesigned (November 2007) Kim Vô Salon at The Mirage, features a barber shop, a variety of wigs and hair extensions, and an increased number of styling stations and manicure-pedicure chairs. The 2,300-square-foot retail boutique offers spa and salon products, cosmetics, specialty apparel, accessories, and gifts for men and women.
In addition to a lagoon-style pool, the Mirage offers a secluded, adults-only pool (surcharge), where topless sunbathing is permitted.
The City Center Residential Gallery, located in the lobby, provides guests with information about City Center and its residences. Guests can set up tours of the Residential Sales Pavilion.
Other highlights include a 100,000-square-foot casino and an array of dining choices—from an Brazilian steakhouse to an outpost of New York’s Carnegie Deli.
Pool cabanas, open seasonally from 10 AM - 6 PM, are available to rent. Amenities include 32-inch flat-panel LCD TVs; MP3-docking stations; and new chaise lounges, contemporary ceiling fans, and area rugs. All non-casino cabana reservations and wait list requests are managed by the concierge.

Driving directions from McCarran International Airport:
- Exit the airport via Paradise Rd and bear right onto Swenson St.
- Turn left on E Naples Dr, then right on Paradise Rd.
- Turn left on E Flamingo Rd and go about 1 mile.
- Turn right on Las Vegas Blvd S (the Strip) and go about .5 miles to the hotel.
Getting there: Taxis to the Mirage cost $16–$25. Shuttle vans costs less but transport guests to various hotels in sequence rather than directly to a particular guest's hotel.
Getting around: From early morning to after midnight, the Las Vegas Monorail ($5 for one ride, $9 for two rides, $35 for 10 rides, $15 for one-day pass, $40 for three-day pass) makes seven stops along the resort corridor, including one near this resort and another at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Las Vegas Strip Trolley ($2 for one ride, $5 for one-day pass) operates along The Strip and to the Convention Center from mid-morning to after midnight Public buses operate along The Strip and to downtown Las Vegas. Taxis are available at the resort.

Activities
A coconut-grove garden with grottos and waterfalls features a lagoon-style family pool with a quarter-mile "shoreline." Also within the garden are a children's pool and a spa tub. Topless sunbathing is permitted around an adults-only pool secluded from the family pool. (Guests must pay a daily surcharge to enter the adults-only area.) Poolside rental cabanas include flat-screen TVs, Bose Wave radios, and misting systems.
