The Imperial Palace Hotel & Casino is on Las Vegas Boulevard, about four miles from downtown. The on-site day spa includes 12 treatment rooms, men's and women's relaxation lounges, saunas, steam rooms, and spa tubs. Getting there: A taxi to the Imperial Palace Hotel & Casino costs $16–$25. A shuttle van costs less, but transports guests to various hotels in sequence rather than directly to a particular guest's hotel.
Getting around: From early morning to after midnight, the Las Vegas Monorail ($5 for one ride, $9 for two rides, $35 for 10 rides, $15 for one-day pass, $40 for three-day pass) makes seven stops along the resort corridor, including one at this hotel and another at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Las Vegas Strip Trolley ($2 for one ride, $5 for one-day pass) operates along The Strip (a 7-mile stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard South) and to the Convention Center from mid-morning to after midnight and also connects to a trolley running between The Strip and hotels south of The Strip on Las Vegas Boulevard South. Public buses operate along The Strip and to downtown Las Vegas. Taxis are available at the hotel.
