A resort charge added to room charges covers amenities such as a torch-lighting ceremony and Hawaiian music. For children ages 5–12, the Keiki Aloha Club offers activities five days a week; morning and afternoon sessions are available.

Room Descriptions
The Sheraton Kauai offers 394 guestrooms renovated in 2006. The Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed features custom-designed, extra-thick, plush-top mattress dressed with three sheets, fleece blankets, plump duvet in rich colors, and five goose down/feather pillows.
Furnished lanais have ocean or garden views. Amenities include refrigerators, bathrobes, video games, and in-room safes. Wireless Internet access is available for a surcharge.

Lihue Airport (LIH): Approximate driving time to the Sheraton Kauai Resort is 26 minutes and distance is 15 miles.
Driving directions from Lihue Airport:
- Exit the airport via Ahukini Rd, then turn left to take SR 51 (Kapule Hwy) south for about 1 mile.
- Turn right on Rice St, then continue on SR 50 (Kaumaulii Hwy) for about 6.5 miles.
- Bear left onto SR 520 and continue on 520 for about 4.8 miles.
- Continue on Hoonani Rd for about 0.7 mile to the hotel.
Getting there: The best transfer option from the airport is a rental car, especially for guests who want to sightsee. Car rentals are available online. Taxis are also available ($26–$35; fees subject to change without notice).
Getting around: Shops, restaurants, and activities are within a short walk or taxi ride of the resort. Most attractions island, however, are best reached by car. Guest parking is included in the hotel's resort fee.
Activities
Sheraton Kauai Resort has three tennis courts (two lighted). Kiahuna Golf Course is a five-minute drive away, and the Poipu Bay Resort Golf Course is 10 minutes away. Restaurants & Bars
Naniwa Japanese Restaurant and Sushi Bar - Japanese restaurant and sushi bar located behind low dividing wall at one end of Shells Restaurant. Dinner only; reservations recommended. Open nightly, Tuesday through Saturday.
Shells Steak & Seafood Restaurant - Extensive ocean views. Buffet breakfasts served daily (as well as an à la carte menu); Pacific regional cuisine featuring fresh fish and local produce. Children 12 years and younger dine free (one child per adult, maximum of two children per table). Dinner reservations recommended.
The Point - Restaurant with long bar, couch seating, pool table, and TVs. A cook grills burgers and fish next to an outside terrace. Live music and dancing featured several nights per week. Casual menu served from late morning to midnight. Seating either inside or on the terrace.
Oasis Bar & Grill - Poolside spot serving burgers, fish sandwiches, salads, snacks, smoothies, and tropical cocktails during the day.
