Room Descriptions
This All-Inclusive resort offers 708 guestrooms in two pink towers; one is 14 stories high, and the other is 11 stories high. Accommodations were refurbished in 2005 and have new bedspreads, draperies, mattresses, and TVs. Contemporary decor is tropical in style. Balconies are furnished with chairs and cocktail tables. Other amenities include in-room safes.

Driving directions from Sangster/Montego Bay International Airport: Depart airport to highway A1 east. Follow highway signs toward Ocho Rios. Sign pointing to hotel on left is located on Main St toward eastern edge of downtown Ocho Rios.
Getting there: The Jamaica Tours desk outside the baggage-claim area offers roundtrip transportation between the airport and resort ($26-$35 USD). Taxis (more than $36 USD) are also available. (Prices subject to change). Although rental cars are available online, few visitors to Jamaica rent cars unless they are comfortable driving British-style (on the left).

A 1,300-foot beach features one section facing an open bay and another facing a semi-enclosed bay with cruise-ship dock. Thatched huts offer shade along the long stretches of sand.
Fringed by palm tree and boulders and spanned by a rope-and-wood suspension bridge, a lagoon-style pool sprawls several hundred feet in the Sunset Jamaica Grand's center and features a volleyball net, a two-story 150-foot wide rock waterfall, and two five-person spa tubs near the waterfall. A free-form pool fronts each of the resort's two lodging towers.
A 60-foot "lighthouse" waterslide offers panoramic views with a lower level featuring an air-conditioned arcade area.
Water sports equipment provided as part of the All Inclusive Plan includes kayaks, pedal boats, water cycles, and snorkeling gear for use within designated areas just off the beach. Snorkeling and scuba diving excursions to reefs are available for surcharges, as is a scuba-diving certification course. Other water sports for which surcharges apply are Jet Skiing, parasailing, sailing, and windsurfing. Also available for surcharges are glass-bottom-boat and semi-submarine rides and motorboats.
Use of two lighted tennis courts is part of the All Inclusive Plan. Sandals Golf Course 7.5 miles (12 km) away is open for public play.
