Hotel Information: Classic Europe meets the Caribbean at this resort, which contrasts French, Dutch, and Italian motifs with the turquoise waters and pristine white-sand beaches of Jamaica’s southern coast. Occupying 50 acres within a 500-acre nature reserve, this resort has landscaped gardens surrounding elegant, European-inspired architecture with tropical accents.
Amenity highlights: This all-inclusive resort features seven restaurants and six bars, as well as four pools, three spa tubs, and a private white-sand beach. A health club offers cardio equipment, weights, and fitness classes. The room rate also covers entertainment and various land and water activities, including snorkeling, sailing, windsurfing, tennis, volleyball, and squash. Set within a 500-acre natural reserve on Jamaica’s unspoiled southwest coast, this 50-acre, all-inclusive resort overlooks a two-mile, private, white-sand beach near the town of Whitehouse. Surrounded by landscaped grounds, the resort’s 360 guestrooms and suites are distributed among three villages with French, Dutch, and Italian themes.
Meals and most drinks at the resort’s seven restaurants and six bars are included, as are activities ranging from land and water sports to games, parties, and shows. Sandals Whitehouse also features four pools, three spa tubs, tennis and squash courts, and a health club with cardio equipment, weights, and aerobic classes.
The Red Lane Spa (surcharge) offers hydrotherapy, sauna, and steam rooms, as well as treatments including wraps, massages, scrubs, and facials.

The 360 rooms and suites at Sandals Whitehouse are distributed among three European-themed villages (French, Dutch, and Italian). All rooms have balconies or patios and ocean views, as well as colorful decor and mahogany four-poster king beds. Amenities include air conditioning, cable TV with premium channels, clock radios with CD players, coffee makers, in-room safes, telephones, hair dryers, and irons/ironing boards. Suites also have separate sitting areas and marble bathrooms with spa tubs.
Concierge-level accommodations also feature bathrobes and minibars, along with in-room Continental breakfast service, VIP check-in, an upgraded welcome kit, special luggage handling, private parties, and tour assistance.

Facing an expanse of turquoise water, the resort’s half-mile-long, white-sand beach sets the stage for a host of water sports, including swimming, sailing, snorkeling, and scuba diving, all of which are included in the room rate. Back on land, the options include miniature golf, bike rentals, and a nature trail, along with courts for tennis, basketball, and volleyball.
Resort staff will help arrange nearby nature tours and other excursions.

Important Information
All Sandals, Beaches, and Royal Plantation resorts are nonsmoking in any enclosed areas. Examples are bars, restaurants, lobbies, conference facilities, retail facilities, and nightclubs.
Smoking is permitted in all open areas and designated rooms.
Photo identification and credit card or cash deposit are required at check-in for incidental charges.

A no-tipping policy applies at the resort only. A modest gratuity per piece of luggage is suggested for airport luggage handlers.
Upon check-in, guests will be asked to tender a credit card to activate their room folio. All purchases (except those paid for with a credit card) at resort outlets will be signed to the room folio. Cash will not be accepted for incidental charges at any resort outlet.
If a credit card is unavailable, a cash deposit must be left at the front desk/concierge in order to activate the room folio. Travelers’ checks will be treated like cash and therefore can only be used at the front desk.
