Amenity highlights: A 46-meter-long (150-foot-long) free-form pool includes a children's section at one end and a swimup bar and 30-meter-long (100-feet-long) waterslide at the other. Insider tip: FDR Pebbles All Inclusive provides complimentary shuttle service to the non-touristy town of Falmouth 6 km (3.75 mi) west on Mondays and Fridays. On Tuesdays and Saturdays, complimentary shuttle service is available to lively downtown Montego Bay 30 km (18 mi) west for shopping and sightseeing.
Property Amenities
As part of the All Inclusive Plan at FDR Pebbles, families with small children are assigned a trained "vacation nanny" to look after children between morning to late afternoon (with a one-hour lunch break). Child care after hours is available for hourly surcharges, and an additional nanny can also be hired for a daily surcharge.
Children enjoy a large, supervised, air-conditioned clubhouse stocked with toys, learning aids, video movies, and Nintendo games. Pre-teens have their own supervised clubhouse with video games. Teens have an open-air, second-story club between the beach and the pool. Other children's facilities include an infant/toddler waterplay feature; a Heely track; and a petting zoo containing goats and guinea pigs, a fishing pond, and a turtle pond.
A health-and-beauty spa offers massage, reflexology, body scrubs, and facials, hair braiding, and hair and nail care (surcharges for all services). Oceanside massage is available in an open-air pavilion on a rocky point. An air-conditioned disco with DJ music serves children for an hour nightly, then pre-teens for an hour, then teens and adults until late night. Adults enjoy access to the main bar and piano lounge area. Family activities and contests center on the pool daily and include the resort's activities staff. Cricket, soccer, Jamaican cooking classes, are offered. Jamaican reggae music is played throughout.

Room Descriptions
FDR Pebbles All Inclusive offers 96 deluxe junior suites in 12 two-story wooden cottages on the sea. Suites feature large balconies furnished with chairs; beds with oversized, stuffed pillows and mosquite nets; separate sitting rooms; cedar-wood interiors with rattan furniture; tile floors and bathrooms; and bright Jamaican art.
Compact refrigerators are stocked daily with soft drinks and, on request, milk, fruit, and cheese; dry cereal and crackers are also available. Televisions offer U.S. cable channels. Fresh hibiscus blossoms grace suites daily. All suites are nonsmoking, although smoking is permitted outdoors.

Driving directions from Sangster/Montego Bay International Airport: Depart airport to highway A1 E. After approximately 27 km (17 mi), follow signs to the hotel.
Getting there: The resort provides complimentary airport transfers. Airport greeters direct arriving guests to a desk outside the baggage claim area, where clerks arrange van transport to the resort. Taxis (more that US$36) are also available (price subject to change). Although rental cars are available online, few visitors to Jamaica rent cars unless they are comfortable driving British-style (on the left).
Getting around: The resort provides complimentary shuttle service to the town of Falmouth three miles west on Mondays and Fridays, with a visit to Swamp Safari Crocodile Farm included. On Tuesdays and Saturdays, complimentary shuttle service is available to downtown Montego Bay 48 km (30 mi) west for shopping and sightseeing. Taxis are available at the resort.

At the resort's center lies a 46-meter-long (150-foot-long) free-form pool with a children's section at one end and a swimup bar and 30-meter-long (100-foot-long) waterslide at the other. The resort's 228-meter (250-yard) oceanfront includes two beaches (55 meters/60 yards and 137 meters/150 yards long) furnished with padded lounge chairs. The beaches nearly disappear at high tide, but ocean access is always available, with water kept calm by offshore artificial reefs and shallow enough for children.
Use of snorkeling gear, windsurfers, kayaks, and small sailboats is part of the All Inclusive Plan, as are water sports lessons. Also included are glass-bottom boat trips and snorkeling excursions to an offshore reef. The resort's dive center provides noncertified divers one lesson and one dive during their stays as part of the All Inclusive Plan. Additional lessons, including certification courses, are available for surcharges. Certified divers may do one dive daily as part of the All Inclusive Plan.
Use of two hard-surface, unlit tennis courts and two basketball half-courts is part of the All Inclusive Plan. Guests age 16 and older may use a second-floor, open-air fitness center furnished with cardio machines and participate in aerobics classes.
Every Wednesday, teens enjoy a supervised overnight camping trip on the nearby Martha Brae River as part of the All Inclusive plan. Children have two sand playgrounds to choose from, one of which is flanked by hammocks for use by watchful parents. The resort also offers a Heely track.

Sabbia - Italian à la carte dinner restaurant for adults only. Oceanfront, open-air pavilion with wood floor, beamed ceiling, red and green linens. Antipasti plus choices such as smoked marlin in pesto-cream sauce, seafood Alfredo, chicken Parmigiano, fettucine with shrimp. Shirts required for men. Closed Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Jamaican Restaurant - Open-air restaurant on beach serving jerk pork and chicken, spicy Jamaican patties, hamburgers, hot dogs and french fries. Open for lunch, dinner, and late-night drinks.
Overproof Restaurant - Serving authentic Jamaican cuisine for adults only, five nights per week. Dishes include oxtail and beans, escoveitched and steamed fish, and curried mutton. Each dish is served with sides such as rice and peas, or festival and boiled dumplings.
