Set back from the street, ResortQuest Waikiki Beach Tower offers immediate peace and quiet as guests arrive under the shaded entrance, or approach from the street on a flagstone walk bordered by lava-rock walls and an arbor dripping with blossoms.

Amenity highlights: Despite ResortQuest Waikiki Beach Tower's seclusion, Waikiki Beach and the Pacific can't be missed from the unit-wide balconies that offer views of both. Crossing the street is all that's necessary to arrive at the beach, along the back of which runs a lovely, grass-and-palm-tree park.

Breakwaters offshore ensure calm swimming conditions. (Locals call the beach at this point in the sandy sweep toward Diamond Head "Kuhio Beach." To visitors it's all Waikiki Beach, offering access to the warm Pacific waters.

Property Amenities

This ResortQuest Waikiki Beach Tower offers an outdoor pool area with sundeck and spa tub. There are also men's and women's saunas, and pool tables.

Sand crab beach pail sets are offered to all children 12 years and under. Bottom of the crab is a sand sifter; body is a sand pail; right pincher is a sand rake. Beach pails are presented upon check-in. All amenities subject to change without prior notice.

The 40-story ResortQuest Waikiki Beach Tower is across the street from Waikiki Beach, and provides 140 units with one or two bedrooms. Unit-wide balconies offer partial or panoramic ocean views.

Condos at this Honolulu hotel include kitchens with refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, microwaves, cookware/dishes, wet bars, and washer/dryers.

• Take the H-1 Fwy heading east.
• Exit at Nimitz Hwy and follow the signs to Waikiki. Nimitz Hwy becomes Ala Moana Blvd, which merges with Kalakaua Ave.
• From Kalakaua Ave, turn left onto Liliuokalani Ave.
• Continue to the hotel on the left.

Getting there: Shuttles ($5-$15) and taxis ($26-$35) are two options for airport transportation, and both are available right outside baggage claim. Rental cars are available online. All fees subject to change without notice.

Getting around: Shops, restaurants, and nightlife surround the hotel, and many guests enjoy walking to their destinations. For longer trips, the city bus—known for its excellent service and dubbed "TheBus"—is a great option, and bus stops are located nearby.

Full guides to bus service, including maps and usage tips, are available in both English and Japanese for $5–$15. Regular fares are less than $5, while a four-day pass is available for $16–$25. All fees subject to change without notice.

Taxi service is also excellent in the Waikiki area. For those who plan to explore the outer reaches of the island, rental cars are the best bet, and they are available online.

Activities

On site are an outdoor pool, spa tub, saunas, and pool tables. Many recreational activities are available in the area surrounding the Hawaii hotel.
