Hotel Information: Situated in the heart of Seven Mile Beach and central to the amenities of Grand Cayman, the Beach Suites features on-site pools, restaurants, a spa, golf course, fitness center, and Red Sail Sports facilities. The resort offers 53 deluxe ocean-view suites each with 640 square feet of living space, separate bedrooms away from living areas, kitchenettes, and terraces overlooking Seven Mile Beach and the clear waters of the Caribbean Sea.
Amenity highlights: Fine-grain sand runs 180 feet in front of the resort, part of Grand Cayman Island's famed Seven Mile Beach (actually 5.5 miles long). Two large pools and a 12-person spa tub are located between beachfront buildings and the sand. One pool features a swim-up bar.
Other amenities at Grand Cayman Beach Suites include a 24-hour Stay Fit Center, Red Sail Dive and Water sports operation, a full-service European Spa, and nine-hole Jack Nicklaus Golf Course. There are also two retail clothing stores on site. Restaurants include Hemingways and Bamboo (sushi and dancing). Lighter fare is served at the swim-up/sit-up pool bar, Seven Mile Beach Bar and Grill.
Insider tip: Bamboo restaurant offers complimentary sushi-making lessons Monday–Thursday evenings. Participants are permitted, but not required, to eat their creations.
Property Amenities
The Grand Cayman Beach Suites on Seven Mile Beach is a boutique-style, all-suites resort. On-site amenities include a Jack Nicklaus signature nine-hole golf course, a day spa, kids club, and two restaurants. Other facilities include a 24-hour fitness center furnished with cardio equipment, weight machines, and free weights. There are also stores and beauty shops in the golf-course villa sections. A 24-hour business center offers computers with high-speed Internet access (surcharge). Wireless Internet access is also available in the lobby area (surcharge).
The European-style day spa offers massage, body treatments, facials, and waxing; hair and nail care. “Edermologie" machines help to reduce the appearance of cellulite. Hydrotherapy options include a Vichy shower and steam shower. Body treatment choices include Coconut Rub and Milk Ritual Wrap, Lime and Ginger Salt Glow, and Aroma Spa Ocean Wrap. Facials include Japanese Silk Booster and Aromapure. Massages include Swedish, hot-and-cold stone massage, shiatsu, and Reiki. Surcharges apply for spa treatments. There are also two pools and a fitness center.
Beach Suites offers weekday supervised children's activities for kids ages 3–11. Hands-on activities feature lessons about Cayman culture and excursions to kid-friendly attractions such as Cayman Turtle Farm, the bird sanctuary, or the Cayman Islands National Museum (surcharges apply).
Guests have access to a vacation planner, who can help plan dinner reservations, island activities, golf excursions, spa services, and in-room groceries. Special check-in privileges are also offered.
Hemingways Restaurant offers tapas and beachside dining; Bamboo features live music (weekly), sushi, and tapas. The Seven Mile Beach Bar and Grill features “swim-up” or “sit-up” service, and light fare is served throughout the day. In a more remote beach setting, Wreck Bar and Grill serves burgers and mudslides.

Driving directions from Owen Roberts International Airport: Leaving the airport on the main road, turn right onto the ByPass towards Seven Mile Beach and West Bay Rd. At the roundabout, keep to the right and the hotel is ahead on the right.
Getting there: There is no shuttle service from this airport to Grand Cayman Beach Suites, so the easiest way is by taxi (US$5–15). Rental cars (more than US$36) are available online.

Getting around: Guests can step off this resort property and walk onto the warm sands of Seven Mile Beach, or to several shopping centers with plenty of shops and places to eat. If going into George Town, taxi fare is US$5–15 and bus fare is less than US$5. Buses leave frequently from West Bay Rd and head downtown. Driving is on the left side of the road.

Activities
The resort is home to Britannia Golf Course, designed by Jack Nicklaus. Depending on the day, the course is variously configured as an 18-hole executive course or as a nine-hole course. Rental clubs are available. Shuttle service to the course is complimentary. A water sports center adjacent to the beach rents out snorkeling and scuba diving gear; personal watercraft, kayaks, and paddle boats. The center also books submarine trips, snorkeling and scuba-diving excursions; fishing charters, sunset and dinner sailing cruises; banana-boat rides, waterskiing, and parasailing. Scuba diving lessons are also available.

Coffee and tea are served in the lobby each morning. Tea and cookies are served each afternoon.
Hemingways Restaurant - Oceanside dining; Cuban-style atmosphere. Air-conditioned dining room under peaked wood ceiling; palm-shaded terrace seating. Lunch specialties include Maine lobster wrap; coconut/peppercorn-crusted tuna. Dinner specialties feature crisp yellowtail snapper, mushroom-crusted rack of lamb, passion-fruit flan. Tapas; frozen cocktails served as well. Tiki torches lit at night.
Bamboo - Asian restaurant/sushi bar near beach. Dinner and drinks served. Menu choices include Korean-spiced tuna, duck salad, and baked scallops. Sushi-making lessons Monday–Thursday evenings. Island music and jazz sessions featured some evenings.
Seven Mile Beach Bar and Grill - Features panoramic views of Seven Mile Beach and the Caribbean Sea; Cayman sunsets. Frozen drinks and lighter fare served. Swimup/walk-up oceanfront pool bar. Casual.
Rum Point Restaurant - Opened June, 2005. Located on beachfront at Rum Point, a 35-minute ferry ride (surcharge) across North Sound from resort. Caribbean-style wood building. Air-conditioned dining room and screened-porch seating. Caribbean and sunset views. Menu selections include coconut shrimp with citrus-cardamom sauce; pistachio-crusted seabass with dried-mango salsa; spicy tuna with red-pepper-lemon oil; lemon-ginger chicken breast with tomato-confit emulsion. Dinner only.
Wreck Bar & Grill - Located at Rum Point. Canary-yellow, beachfront "shack" with takeout window and picnic-table seating under Casuarina trees. Grilled food, burgers, jerk-pork sandwich, fish and chips, tropical drinks. Lunch only. Island-music band featured Saturday afternoons.
Beach Bar - Bar with both a swimup side and sunken side; ocean, sunset views. Burgers, sandwiches, salads, and tropical drinks served.
Room Service - Available from early morning until late evening. Also available poolside and beachside.
