Guestrooms at the Sanibel Inn are housed on two floors with exterior and elevator access. Furnished balconies face the tropical garden, outdoor pool, or Gulf of Mexico. All offer kitchenettes with microwaves and compact refrigerators, while condos include full kitchens.
Condos are individually owned, with each residence featuring unique decor.
Rooms feature TVs with DVD players and complimentary HBO and Disney channels. Beds are triple-sheeted with 300-thread-count linens.
Complimentary copies of The New York Times are delivered Monday-Saturday. Smoking is not permitted inside the rooms and condos.

- Follow Terminal Access Rd out of the airport
- Turn right onto Treeline Ave Extension.
- Continue on Treeline Ave for approximately 2.5 miles and turn left onto Daniels Parkway.
- Drive under the I-75 overpass.
- Continue straight ahead, crossing US-41 to Summerlin Rd. Daniels Parkway becomes Cypress Lake Dr after crossing US-41.
- Turn left on Summerlin Rd.
- Continue on Summerlin Rd for 10 miles to the Sanibel Causeway ($6 bridge toll).
- Cross the causeway and continue straight ahead to the four-way stop at Periwinkle Way.
- Proceed straight a quarter-mile until the road ends, directly in front of the Sanibel Inn.
Getting there: Cars are the most popular way to get to the hotel. One-way taxi fare is $60.
Getting around: Cars and bicycles are the best bet for getting around the island. Car rentals are available online. Use of bicycles is complimentary.
