Hotel Information: The restored Dutch Colonial village that constitutes Hotel Kura Hulanda Spa and Casino is situated on the Otrobanda side of Willemstad. In native Papiamentu, Kurá Hulanda means "Dutch courtyard." Hotel Kura Hulanda Spa and Casino offers 80 guestrooms in restored one- and two-story 18th- and 19th-century buildings. Each room is individually decorated, but all rooms feature carved mahogany and teak furniture, antiques and/or replicas, hand-woven bedspreads and throw pillows, decorative wall bands painted by local artists, tile or hardwood floors, and hand-woven area rugs. Driving directions from Curaçao International Airport: Follow signs to Otrobanda, straight through two roundabouts. Pass the water refinery.
