Getting there: With advance notice, the hotel will send a complimentary shuttle to pick up guests at the airport. Taxi fare is approximately US$18. Tickets can be purchased at a kiosk inside the airport.
Getting around: The hotel is about 3 km (2 mi) from the heart of downtown. Roads in Costa Rica are often unmarked and navigating them by car is recommended only for the adventurous. San Jose, with its one-way streets, is particularly confusing. Taxis, readily available, are the preferred method for exploring San Jose and the surrounding area.
