The Hyatt Cancun Caribe Resort offers 296 rooms and suites, in a main building, the beachfront Premier Tower, and the Regency Club Tower.
Deluxe rooms in the main building feature new marble floors and modern furnishings, plus private balconies or terraces with views of the Mexican Caribbean.
Deluxe beachfront rooms and suites at the new Premier Tower offer ceiling fans, marble bathrooms with separate showers, double vanities, and direct access to a white-sand beach. Suites with jetted tubs on the terrace look out to the Caribbean Sea and the hotel zone.
The Regency Club Tower features spacious Club rooms and suites with large terraces or balconies on a private beach. Guests have access to the Regency Club Lounge, which provides Continental breakfast, hors d’oeuvres, evening cocktails, and wireless Internet access; butler and concierge services; and turndown service. All Regency Club rooms include jetted tubs.

Driving directions from Cancún International Airport:
- Take airport access road going east and follow signs to Zona Resortera.
- Proceed north on Boulevard Kukulcán, the main street extending along Cancún Island.
- Resort is located on the right approximately 300 meters (328 yards) past Plaza Flamingo.
Getting there: Shared vans ($5-$15) and authorized taxis (more than $36) transport guests from the airport to the hotel. Car rentals are available online.
Getting around: The Hyatt Cancun Caribe Resort is located on Boulevard Kukulcán, the main street extending the length of Cancún Island. 24-hour public buses costing approximately US 60 cents operate along Boulevard Kukulcán in the hotel zone to downtown Cancún on the mainland. Taxi rates are determined by zone, with a minimum fare of approximately US$7.

Activities
Love Rock, a six-meter-high (20-foot) promontory and popular wedding site, divides the Cancun resort's beach frontage into a 100-meter (109-yard) segment and a 69-meter (75-yard) segment. Although all Cancún beaches are open to the public, Love Rock at one end and a bluff at the other make it difficult for outsiders to access the shorter stretch, effectively creating a tranquil "private" beach furnished with thatched-roof palapas for resort guests.
A fieldstone sunning terrace furnished with padded lounge chairs and thatched-roof palapas features a 46-meter (150-foot) freeform pool and a 12-person spa tub.
An independent operator, AquaWorld, rents boogie boards and snorkeling gear at the resort. Other independent operators offer personal watercraft and parasailing on the beach or nearby beaches. AquaWorld's main center is a marina 5.5 km (3.5 mi) away on Nichupté Lagoon, where many watersports are available, including parasailing, kayaking, personal watercraft, sailing, and windsurfing. AquaWorld also books fishing trips and scuba diving and snorkeling excursions.
The 18-hole Pok-Ta-Pok Golf Club is 3.5 km (2.25 mi) from the resort, and the 18-hole Hilton golf course is 6.5 km (4 mi).
