Hotel Information: With yellow exterior walls, white trim, and a columned main entrance overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Elbow Beach welcomes guests with classic Bermudian elegance. French doors open into a lobby with high ceilings, marble floors, and crystal chandeliers. The resort attracts a mostly affluent, well-traveled clientele, including many repeat visitors.
Insider tip: In the waters just off Elbow Beach, 60 feet below the surface, lies the shipwreck Pollock Shields. The British ammunition ship foundered on the reef during a hurricane in 1915 and is a popular diving and snorkeling site.
Amenity highlights: In addition to a half-mile stretch of private beach, the resort's 50 acres of landscaped grounds include a freeform pool, a jogging trail, tennis courts, and a nine-hole putting green. Dining options include a fusion restaurant with indoor or ocean-view terrace dining, a Mediterranean-style seafood restaurant, a seasonal beachfront bistro, and a rum and cigar bar. Elbow Beach is located on Bermuda’s south shore, two miles from downtown Hamilton. Set amidst 50 acres of lush gardens, the resort has a half-mile stretch of private, pink-sand beach.
The Spa at Elbow Beach offers a variety of Asian-influenced services, including Chakra Balancing with Hot Stones and Ayurvedic body treatments. Private spa suites have rain showers, granite soaking tubs, and ocean-view balconies.
The resort's signature restaurant, the Seahorse Grill, serves global cuisine featuring fresh local seafood, dry-aged Prime Black Angus Beef, and a range of grilled items. Overlooking the south shore, the Veranda Bar & Lounge offers 50 brands of rum, a selection of fine cigars, English-style afternoon tea, and a light menu of salads, snacks, sandwiches. Room service is available 24 hours.
Wireless Internet access is available in public areas (surcharge). Conference facilities include 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, much of it ocean-view. A business center provides equipment rentals and secretarial and business services.

Room Descriptions
This Bermuda resort has 235 guestrooms and suites located in the main building or in renovated cottages spread throughout the resort gardens. Rooms in the main building are closer to the pool and spa, while rooms in the gardens are closer to the beach. Some accommodations have furnished balconies or patios with ocean and/or garden views.
All rooms offer high-speed Internet access (surcharge), cable TV with U.S. channels, minibars, and complimentary newspapers. Bathrooms include bathrobes, scales, and Aromatherapy Associates toiletries. Evening turndown service is provided. Upon check-in, guests receive a complimentary beverage (fruit punch or rum swizzle) in the bar or a Bermuda rum cake.

Getting there: Taxis are available for $25–$36, and the Elbow Beach concierge can arrange private car service to or from the airport for approximately $45. All prices are subject to change. Rental cars are not available on Bermuda.
Getting around: Taxis are the easiest way to get around and are readily available for both short trips and longer sightseeing excursions. Local buses also offer convenient and efficient transportation around Bermuda, and a bus stop is located across the street from the resort. Year-round and seasonal fast ferry routes serve various areas. Rental cars are not available on Bermuda; the only options for independent transportation are scooter, moped, or bicycle rentals (available at the resort).
Activities
Guests enjoy a spacious freeform pool and five tennis courts, two lit for night play. A fitness center provides classes and personal training in summer (surcharge). A jogging trail is on site, and a cycle shop rents mountain bikes, scooters, and motor bikes for venturing farther afield around Bermuda.
Elbow Beach has a nine-hole putting green, and several world-class golf courses are located within a few miles, including the 18-hole course at Belmont Hills.
With coral reefs and a sunken ship located just offshore, snorkeling and scuba diving are possible directly from the resort’s private beach. A dive shop on the beach rents snorkeling and diving gear and can arrange excursions to other areas around the island. Kayaks, paddle boats, and Jet Skis are also available for rental.

Patrons receive complimentary admission to the resort’s Deep nightclub. Open daily for dinner.
Mickey’s Beach Bistro & Bar - Beachfront bistro offering casual dinners, take-out lunches, and bar service. Simple, fresh cuisine such as shrimp, scallop, and pineapple skewers; tomato-and-onion salad; and linguini tossed with shrimp, zucchini, red peppers, and saffron sauce. Open daily April–October.
Veranda Bar & Lounge - Patio bar serving cocktails and 50 brands of rum. Daily happy hour with live entertainment; 52-inch, high-definition TV broadcasting sporting events. English-style afternoon tea served daily. Light menu of salads, snacks, sandwiches, and entrées. Adjacent cigar room with extensive selection of Cuban and other fine cigars.
Blue Point - Casual poolside restaurant and bar serving salads, sandwiches, seafood, and a variety of desserts. Menu highlights include Sand Lobster Salad, Seared Bermuda Yellowfin Tuna, and Chargrilled Ribeye Steak. Open daily for lunch and seasonally for dinner.

Important Information
Elbow Beach charges a fixed daily service fee of $9 per person, including children staying in their parents' or guardians' room. When breakfast is included in the room rate, the service charge is $13 per person per day. This charge covers gratuities for porters/bellhops, doormen/doorwomen, and housekeeping attendants. Fees are subject to change without notice.
Extra-person charges may apply and vary depending on hotel policy.
There are no room charges for children 17 and younger when staying in the same room as their parents or guardians.
Rollaway beds and cribs (infant beds) may be available and should be requested at the time of booking; fees may apply.
