Hotel Information: Part of a three-property Marriott complex, Marriott's Aruba Surf Club on Palm Beach is primarily a vacation-rental property attracting families and couples. An adjoining partner resort, Marriott's Aruba Ocean Club, has a Balinese-style spa featuring couples rooms with spa tubs and a private relaxation garden. Driving directions from Queen Beatrix International Airport:
- Depart airport to the west on the main road.
- Continue through the downtown area, and proceed north until reaching a sign pointing left to the Marriott resort.

Ground transportation:
Shuttle vans and private cars of varying prices are available. They can be reserved during the process of booking a reservation for this hotel, via this Web site, and added to the total trip cost.
Getting around: Taxis are available at the resort. Aruba's roads are well maintained and easily navigated with the aid of a map. Driving is on the right side.
Activities
The resort's rock-garden recreation complex features a 183-m (600-ft) freeform pool with sloped entry and swim-up bar. The complex also includes a children's pool, a sand-volleyball court, a pool table, and a Ping-Pong table. Use of two lighted tennis courts is complimentary.
The resort faces Palm Beach along the Caribbean Sea. A water-sports center provides a wide array of rental equipment, including snorkeling gear, small sailboats, and kayaks. The center also arranges scuba instruction, snorkeling and scuba excursions, fishing trips, sunset cruises, dinner cruises, wakeboarding, water skiing, tubing, parasailing, and glass-bottom-boat rides. A windsurfing center farther up the beach offers rentals and lessons.
