Hotel Information: Restricted to guests aged 16 or older, the locally owned-and-operated Dian Bay Resort attracts couples seeking restful holidays. Public by law, the two beaches used by guests are effectively private due to isolation. Grounds are thickly planted with palm trees and flowering gardens. There are no group activities other than power walks on request to Devil's Bridge.
Note: Because of stairways to the pools, beach, and restaurant, this hillside resort is not suitable for people with physical disabilities.
Amenity highlights: Dian Bay Resort stands on a terraced hillside above a narrow turquoise bay of the Atlantic Ocean. Two peninsulas form the nearly enclosed bay, protecting it from ocean swells. A small beach is at the base of the hill. Upon request, the hotel also provides complimentary motor-skiff transport to picturesque Lover's Beach across the bay. A three-level complex comprising three freeform pools is terraced into the hotel’s hillside.
Insider tip: Located on the ocean side of a narrow peninsula across the bay, the Devil's Bridge limestone arch is a prime island attraction. Swells spouting through blowholes can be seen from the resort. By road, Devil's Bridge is 2.25 km (1.5 mi) away. But guests may request complimentary motor-skiff transport that takes less than a minute.

A freestanding three-room spa offers treatments such as Fango Mud Therapy, as well as waxing, paraffin treatments, and hair and nail care. The spa’s “wet” rooms, located in one of the lodging buildings, include a Swiss shower, a Vichy shower, a hydrotherapy tub, and twin massage beds.

Dian Bay Resort and Spa offers 50 guestrooms in four West Indian–style two-story buildings with gingerbread trim. Each room has a balcony or ground-floor terrace furnished with white-wood chairs. Views are of the ocean or pool complex and gardens. TVs broadcast U.S./international cable channels. Ceiling fans supplement air conditioners. Rattan furniture includes cushioned armchairs. Floors are sandstone-colored tile. Bathrooms have pedestal sinks and shower/tub combinations. Smoking is permitted only outdoors.

Driving directions from ANU International Airport:Proceed east through the village of Willikies in the Parish of St Phillips toward Long Bay. Dian Bay is on the hill overlooking Devil’s Bridge and Indian Town Creek.
Getting there: Taxis cost $16–$25 for one to four passengers.

A small beach at the base of the hillside is furnished with umbrellas and cushioned lounge chairs. A sunbathing terrace adjoins the beach. On request, the resort's complimentary motor skiff transports guests 250 m (273 yd) across the bay to long, secluded Lover's Beach. Guests can also swim or use complimentary kayaks or small sailboats to reach this beach. The resort supplies complimentary snorkeling gear.
A three-level complex comprises three freeform splash pools, furnished sundecks, and small waterfalls.
