Hotel Information: Restricted to guests aged 12 or older except from Dec. 19 through Jan. 7, Coconut Beach Club offers relaxation instead of activities. The only group activity is a guided nature walk through the resort's 15 hectares (37 acres), which include a bird-sanctuary lagoon.
Amenity highlights: Coconut Beach Club is arrayed along a sandy 350-m (383-yd) beach used primarily by resort guests. Hammocks sway from palm trees on a lawn by the shore. A small, kidney-shaped pool includes a wooden sundeck. Use of snorkeling gear, small sailboats, and two-person kayaks is complimentary to all guests.
Insider tip: Visitors and locals from all over Antigua gather Sunday afternoons at Shirley Heights overlooking English Harbour for an outdoor party highlighted by a panoramic view of the sunset. The resort offers shuttle service to the party, which is 24.25 km (15 mi) away, for a surcharge.

The Bamboo Room serves à la carte dinner five nights weekly, and a Caribbean buffet with live music Tuesday nights. The Beach Restaurant serves buffets by the shore. Resort wear (long pants and collared shirts for men) is required in restaurants and the bar/lounge after 7 PM.
A “wellness cottage” at one end of the resort offers massage, facials, body treatments, waxing, and nail care through an independent provider (advance appointment required). Adjacent to the Coconut Beach Club's open-air reception pavilion, an Internet room contains a computer with high-speed access (surcharge).

Coconut Beach Club offers 38 guestrooms and suites in a white, three-story building (no elevators). Patios and balconies, furnished with chairs and hammocks, provide close-up views of the Caribbean Sea.
Because the resort's intent is to provide fresh-air rest-and-relaxation holidays, rooms and suites do not have TVs, radios, or clocks. However, all have air conditioners and ceiling fans.

Getting around: A shuttle transports guests to St. John’s, Antigua's capital, Monday through Saturday mornings (surcharge). On Sunday afternoons, a shuttle transports guests of Coconut Beach Club to the weekly barbecue/music party at Shirley Heights (surcharge). Taxis are stationed at the resort.
Activities
Defined by two rocky points and furnished with thatched shades and lounge chairs, Yepton Bay Beach extends 350 m (383 yd) in front of the resort. A lawn between the lodging building and the beach is furnished with lounge chairs and hammocks. Use of snorkeling gear, small sailboats, two-person kayaks, and two unlighted tennis courts is complimentary to all guests.
Bougainvillea and other plantings border the 12.75-m (42-ft) kidney-shaped pool. The wooden sundeck has lounge chairs and a thatched shade.
